Married doctor appears in court after his two girlfriends fought over him

A prominent Zimbabwean doctor and business executive, Dr David Madzikanda, has told a Harare magistrate's court that two women involved in a cyberbullying case are both his girlfriends, while stating that he remains legally married to his wife.Dr Madzikanda made the disclosure while testifying as a State witness before Magistrate Lisa Mutendereki in Zimbabwe, during the trial of Tsitsi Mutseriwa, who accused Millicent Murape of cyberbullying and harassment.According to The Herald, the doctor told the court that he has never married Mutseriwa and has no intention of doing so. "I never married Mutseriwa and will never marry her. I have only one wife at home who works in a bank," he said.Dr Madzikanda testified that the dispute between the two women began after Murape became pregnant, which allegedly triggered tensions between them. He also told the court that during an incident in July 2025, he had gone to Mutseriwa's residence for lunch when Murape unexpectedly arrived, leading to a confrontation.Addressing allegations of property damage, the doctor maintained that he owned the property where windows were allegedly broken and argued that only he had the legal right to report any damage. He further alleged that Mutseriwa later demanded that he build her a house and buy her a car in exchange for withdrawing the case.Mutseriwa, however, told the court that Murape had initially been her tenant before beginning a relationship with Dr Madzikanda. She accused Murape of sending abusive WhatsApp messages, vandalising her property by breaking windows and making allegations that she had used witchcraft in an attempt to cause Murape to miscarry her pregnancy.According to the prosecution, the alleged abusive messages began on July 5, 2025, with additional messages sent the following day. Murape is also accused of damaging window panes with stones and claiming she would soon become the property's landlady.Mutseriwa further testified that she once found Dr Madzikanda inside Murape's apartment and had to wait outside for about an hour. She also alleged that the doctor has four other wives. Dr Madzikanda told the court that the child he shares with Murape was planned. The cyberbullying case remains before the Harare Magistrates' Court.  The post Married doctor appears in court after his two girlfriends fought over him appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
