
Founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye, has criticized calls for the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, to lead public protests against Nigeria's worsening insecurity. Bamiloye dismissed the demands in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning, June 3, describing the expectations as entirely unrealistic given the cleric's advanced age. He emphasized that Pastor Adeboye has already publicly condemned the nation's rising security challenges on multiple occasions. According to Bamiloye, expecting an 84-year-old religious leader to organize and lead street demonstrations makes no sense, reiterating that the clerics primary assignment remains his spiritual calling rather than political activism.
