Diddy's former girlfriend Cassie Ventura has left the US permanently with her family after the Diddy trial. The 'Me & U' singer, 39, has kept a low profile since she took to the stand during Diddy's dramatic trial last year. It has been revealed that the mother-of-three no longer lives in the US, and that she has no intention of returning. In a court declaration that is dated 1 May, 2026, the Connecticut-born songstress said, according to Complex: "I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States." It also states that Cassie is a US citizen, but is not a current resident of California. The court documents were submitted amid another lawsuit centred around Diddy's alleged debauchery, which has been filed by a male escort named Clayton Howard. He has accused Diddy, who is currently incarcerated, and his former partner Cassie of hiring him to participate in "freak offs" and claims he contracted an STD as a result. Howard also alleges that Cassie became pregnant following their encounters and that she subsequently had an abortion. He claims to have suffered physical and psychological harm while being involved with the former couple. It is unclear where Cassie is now living outside of the US. In the court documents, she said that it would be easier for the legal proceedings in relation to Howard's lawsuit to be held in New York as this is where her lawyers are based. This comds after Cassie courageously delivered testimony about her and Diddy's toxic 11-year relationship while the music executive was facing charges including sx trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in pr0stitution. Diddy ultimately dodged a life sentence as jurors ruled he was not guilty of the weightiest charge levied against him - racketeering conspiracy. He was convicted of two counts of transportation for pr0stitution. Cassie launched a lawsuit against the rapper in November 2023 and Diddy settled the suit but "vehemently denied" the claims it included. In a statement, Cassie said she "decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that she had some level of control". It is believed that she received a payout of $20million, while she is also said to have scored another $10million from the InterContinental Los Angeles Century hotel. She reached the $10m settlement with the hotel in wake of her being attacked by Diddy in one of the hallways of the establishment back in 2016, an incident which was caught on camera.
