Matthew Perry’s assistant who is accused of concealing evidence allegedly drove the late actor’s car at 4AM shortly after his de@th

A former friend and publicist of Matthew Perry has alleged that the actors assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, was seen driving Perrys car in the early hours shortly after the actors death, in a letter submitted ahead of his sentencing.Lisa Calio, who said she worked with Perry for nearly 30 years, wrote to the court describing what she called troubling behaviour by Iwamasa in the aftermath of the actors death in 2023. She claimed: I received a text from Kenny at 4 a.m. as he was driving one of Matthews cars from the house in the Hollywood Hills to the house in the Palisades. And he was loving it.Iwamasa, who is awaiting sentencing, has been accused by prosecutors of acting as a middleman between drug suppliers and Perry, and of injecting the actor with ketamine, including on the day he died.Calio criticised his conduct, saying his priority appeared to be maintaining his lifestyle rather than caring for the actor, adding that he failed to alert those close to Perry despite allegedly witnessing medical emergencies. She also wrote:Kenny Iwamasa killed my friend. Prosecutors have previously alleged that Iwamasa played a central role in supplying and administering ketamine to Perry. He has already pleaded guilty to charges linked to the case.Calio said she had been working with Perry on plans for the Matthew Perry Foundation, but claimed Iwamasa later sought involvement in the project after the actors death, saying it was what Perry would have wanted. The sentencing hearing for Iwamasa is expected to take place later today. The post Matthew Perrys assistant who is accused of concealing evidence allegedly drove the late actors car at 4AM shortly after his de@th appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
