Justice served after seven years - M8rdered Rivers monarch's son reacts to his k!llers' d3ath sentence

The son of the late Chief Robert Namene Loolothe murdered Paramount Ruler of the Luuwa community in Rivers State has reacted to the court ruling, stating that a death sentence for the killer cannot compensate for the loss of his father.  LIB reported that the late monarch was abducted in 2019 and k!lled by his abductors despite ransom payment.   His skeletal remains were exhumed at a creek in 2021.   On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, a court convicted and sentenced the k!llers to d3ath.  However, details of the sentencing are not available at the time of filing this report.   Reacting to the judgment, Barine Eric Loolo, son of the late monarch, shared an emotional message on Facebook. After seven years of your k!dnap and mur*der, and six years of legal battle, justice was served today, he wrote. "My dear father Chief Robert Namene Loolo, I understand that the conviction and d3ath sentence given by the Court today cannot bring back your life. I however, find solace in knowing that justice has been served and the offender has not escaped punishment. My appreciation to God almighty,  the prosecution team and everyone who supported us. To God be the glory.     The post Justice served after seven years - M8rdered Rivers monarch's son reacts to his k!llers' d3ath sentence appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
