An alleged su!cide note linked to Jeffrey Epstein has been unsealed by a US federal judge, marking the first time the document has been made public. The note surfaced in connection with events that took place in July 2019, weeks before Epstein was found dead in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.According to court filings, Epsteins former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, claimed he discovered the note after Epstein allegedly attempted su!cide but survived. Parts of the document released by the court read: They investigated me for months FOUND NOTHING!!!It is a treat to be able to choose ones time to say goodbye. Watcha want me to do Bust out cryin!! NO FUN NOT WORTH IT!! The note was not signed, and its authenticity has not been independently verified.

The Guardian reported that the US Department of Justice did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the document. The note was reportedly unsealed after The New York Times filed a request seeking its release following a recent report detailing its existence.Tartaglione, who is serving a life sentence for a quadruple murder conviction that he is appealing, previously said he found Epstein unresponsive inside their shared prison cell. Federal records indicate Epstein later accused Tartaglione of attacking him, although Epstein reportedly maintained in the weeks before his death that he was not su!cidal.According to reports, Tartaglione later handed the alleged note to his legal team as a possible safeguard against future assault allegations connected to Epstein. Lawyers involved in the case reportedly consulted handwriting experts in an effort to verify who authored the document. The note had remained sealed for years as part of Tartagliones appeal proceedings because of attorney client privilege protections. Epsteins death in 2019 was officially ruled a su!cide by the New York City medical examiner. However, his connections to wealthy and influential figures have continued to fuel conspiracy theories surrounding the circumstances of his death. The post Alleged su!cide note written by Jeffrey Epstein unsealed by US federal judge appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
