Security agents rescue 13 remaining Benue kidnap victims



A joint security team have successfully rescued the remaining 13 passengers who were abducted by bandits on Wednesday nightt, April 15.  The victims were abducted along the Makurdi-Otukpo road in Benue State. They were said to be travelling in a Benue Links bus from Makurdi to Otukpo when the vehicle was attacked. The state Commissioner of Police, Ifeanyi Emenari, confirmed their rescue to newsmen, and said they will be brought to the state capital later today where a press conference is expected to be held. They were initially thought to be JAMB students but the authority of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board dismissed the claim in a statement issued on Saturday, April 18. The post Security agents rescue 13 remaining Benue kidnap victims appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
