Roadside hawker crushed to de@th in Lagos

A roadside hawker was crushed to de@th in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos State. The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, April 19. A Lexus SUV with registration number SMK 674 HY reportedly struck the victim, an adult male. According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, the severity of the impact led to the victims instant dath. In a statement issued by the agencys Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Adebayo Taofiq, LASTMA operatives were promptly deployed to the scene to manage the situation and prevent traffic disruption. The officials secured the area and removed the remains from the roadway to facilitate the smooth flow of vehicles. Police personnel from the Ketu Division later transported the body to the Badagry Mortuary, while preliminary investigations have commenced to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The post Roadside hawker crushed to de@th in Lagos appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
