

Six people were stabbed and a police officer was slashed with a knife at the Arsenal Champions Parade on Sunday, May 31. Carnage unfolded as hundreds of thousands of Arsenal supporters gathered across north London to celebrate the club winning the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years. The Met Police have said 24 people were arrested after 500 officers were deployed on the streets as chaos unfolded. Ten people were arrested for assaulting police and three people were arrested on suspicion of sxual assault as celebrations were marred by violence and gang-related incidents. Police have said there were no serious injuries in five of the stabbings, but the force is hunting one attacker after a man was left with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed.

"Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with knife injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. "No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation continues."
