Mayorkun's mum recalls how her son met Davido

Toyin Adewale, mother of singer, Mayorkun, has shared how her son first connected with Davido before his rise to fame. Speaking on a podcast interview with colleague, Biola Adebayo, she narrated that Mayorkun had visited his cousin's house where he recorded a cover of Davido's hit song and posted it online. She said Davido later sent him a message, leaving them unsure whether the account was genuine or fake at the time. Mayorkun's mum explained that Davido eventually called her son, sent him a box of clothes and a substantial amount of money. She added that when Mayorkun later met with Davido, he recorded Eleko that same night, after which the music star invited him to come and live with him. The post Mayorkun's mum recalls how her son met Davido appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
