A heated exchange occurred during an interview on Arise TV when presenter Adesuwa Omuran cited figures reportedly obtained from the Nigerian Orientation Agency (NOA) concerning conflict-related de@ths recorded under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.Responding to the figures, an APC chieftain appearing on the programme questioned the agency's authority to provide such data. However, the presenter noted that similar statistics are also available through international monitoring and research platforms. The APC representative further argued that the number of terrorists k!lled under the current administration exceeds the number of Nigerians abducted or k!lled during the same period. When asked to provide the source of that claim, he responded, "Trust me."The discussion continued with a comparative analysis presented by the host, who stated that the number of conflict-related de@ths recorded during Tinubu's administration is higher than the figures recorded under previous administrations.According to the analysis cited during the programme, the current administration has recorded approximately twice the number of conflict-related de@ths attributed to the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan and around 10,000 more than those recorded during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
