
A large number of Arsenal supporters took over parts of Lagos Island on Sunday, May 24, as they celebrated the club's Premier League triumph ahead of the official trophy presentation. Dressed in the club's iconic red and white jerseys, the fans marched through major streets, waving flags and displaying banners in a festive atmosphere. Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years on Tuesday, May 19. It's the 14th English title for Arsenal, putting them behind only Liverpool and Manchester United at 20, and their first since 2003-04 when the "Invincibles" went unbeaten under Arsene Wenger.
