A yet-to-be identified man allegedly robbed a s3x worker of her belongings at a hotel in Makurdi, Benue State. A Benue lecturer, Comrade Abeen Mph, who shared the story in a Facebook post said the man fled with the young lady's phone, handbag, Crocs, the sum of N18,000 she made from her business that day and left behind his battered bathroom slippers. He further revealed that not only did the man not pay for the services she rendered, he also tricked her into paying for the hotel room, claiming that he had issues with his banking app. According to Abeen, he was in his room preparing to leave for lectures when he heard a commotion outside his window. He stepped out of his room and found the young lady sitting outside, visibly distressed after her experience. Sadly too, simple acts of goodwill can sometimes leave you regretting ever helping, he wrote. "This morning at the hotel where I lodged last night, something shocking happened. "I was in my room preparing to leave for lectures when I heard the manager and a few men discussing an issue just outside my window. "Curious, I stepped out to find a young LADY sitting outside, BAREFOOTED. On the ground were a pair of bathroom slippers, badly torn at the edges. "From what I gathered, a man had picked the lady from OLD SCHOOL the LAST night, around 11 p.m. to midnight, and brought her to the hotel. "He told the manager he was having issues with his banking app, either due to a daily limit or network problem, and pleaded to be given a room with a promise to pay before checkout. "Out of pity, the lady reportedly paid N5,000 for the room on his behalf, hoping to collect it back from him later before they leave the Hotel. She didnt disclose how much he had paid her for the NIGHT ANYWAY. "By morning, while the lady was still asleep, the man quietly wore her expensive Crocs, took her handbag, which, according to her, contained about N18,000 she had earned from HER OLOSHO Business yesterday, her phone, and the N5,000 she had paid for the room. "As if that wasnt enough, he asked the MANAGER for his phone under the pretense of making a quick call. The moment he stepped out, he rushed off, jumped on an OKADA, and disappeared. "The lady was left stranded without a single kobo, barefooted, and visibly distressed. She kept lamenting how everything she had worked for yesterday had vanished overnight. "It was a painful sight. She had to beg a passing Okada rider to help take her home. When the manager realized what had happened, he ran out trying to stop the bike, but it was too late. "In the end, the man not only avoided paying for the room and the NACKING he received from the OLOSHO GIRL, but he also made away with the ladys money, phone, bag, slippers, and even the managers phone. "Truly, strange and troubling things are happening in this small Makurdi. We need to wise up even the MORE.
