"I'm an extremist" Funke Akindele speaks on loving hard and cutting people off when they hurt her (video)

Funke Akindele has admitted that she wastes no time in cutting people off when they hurt her. The actress was a guest on The Morayo Show just days after she went viral for snubbing her colleague Toyin Abraham at a movie premiere. During an interview that aired today, April 1, media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown asked Funke about her behaviour that sees her loving people hard yet not hesitating to cut them off when they offend her. "I am proud of it and I'm also not proud of it," Funke replied. She added that she is an "extremist" and she is still learning to balance things. She said that when she loves a person, she loves them with everything she has and wants to push them to succeed, so when they hurt her, she completely cuts them off. She said that even her mother, when she was alive, told her that she can't expect everyone to be like her and do things like her, and she encouraged her to give people grace. She then narrated how actor Uzee Usman told her that she is a leader and people are bound to get on her nerves but she can't keep shutting the door at everyone who offends her. She said the message from Uzee struck a cord and she is now working on giving people grace. However, she stated that she is also a human being and she has to put her mental health first.See the video below.      View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post "I'm an extremist" Funke Akindele speaks on loving hard and cutting people off when they hurt her (video) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
