

The police in Delta state have arrested suspected cultists who murdered the twin brother of their rival who they had aimed to k!ll. In a statement released on Tuesday, March 31, the spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, said on January 20, 2026, members of Supreme Vikings Confraternity aka Aro Bagger gruesomely shot and st@bbed to de@th one Alex Adanike m ages 31yrs of Agbhara-Otor Community, whom they mistook for his twin brother Okpako Adanike m. Edafe stated that extensive investigation into the matter earlier led to the arrest of two (2) suspects namely Warri Ochuko m and Lucky Okohwoake m, who both confessed to the commission of the crime. In a related development, Edafe mentioned that the recent raid on criminal hideouts in Ughelli and Warri areas of the state, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, in charge of the department of operations, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has led to the arrest of two additional suspects namely Tega Micheal m aged 26yrs of No 22 Umutu Area Ughelli and Tena Sagbene m 32yrs of No 26 Oseri Street Ughelli, who were identified by the suspects in custody as part of their gang members who they jointly murdered the deceased on the said date. He mentioned that all suspects confessed to the commission of the crime and were today 31st March 2026 arraigned before the Ughelli High Court and remanded in prison custody.
