A man was crushed to d3ath by a truck along Oda Road in Akure, Ondo State. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning, October 8, 2025 when the deceased was returning home after dropping his children at school. It was gathered that the speeding truck lost control and rammed into his motorcycle, killing him on the spot. An eyewitness who spoke with newsmen said the incident occurred in a flash, leaving residents and passersby in shock. "The man had just dropped his children at school and was on his way home when the tipper crushed him. It was a very sad scene, the eyewitness said. The body of the deceased had been evacuated from the scene, while efforts were ongoing to arrest the tipper driver, who fled immediately after the incident.
